Michael Florek

Founder

The Founder and current President of Tellurian UCAN, Inc., Mr. Florek graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. The recipient of numerous awards and appointments as a leader in the AODA and Mental Health community, Mr. Florek was elected to serve four terms as the President of the Wisconsin Association on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse. In addition, he was the founding president of the Wisconsin Association of Therapeutic Communities.



Kevin Florek, MBA

CEO

As the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Florek handles Tellurian’s corporate/public relation events, managed care, insurance licensing, marketing, fundraising, and contract writing, seminars and training. He also serves on many community and association boards. Mr. Florek holds a Masters of Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch College.



Janet Duberry, MA, CSAC

Director of Program Development and Training / Director of Outpatient Services

With over 25-years experience, Ms. Duberry is one of nation’s leading addiction counseling and treatment specialists. One of the creators of Tellurian’s highly successful Alcohol Smart program, she has helped literally hundreds of teens, college students and adults throughout the region. Ms. Duberry holds a Masters Degree in Communications from the University of Arizona.



Dr. Brian Lochen, M.D.

Medical Director

Brian Lochen, M. D. is a certified Addiction Medicine Specialist and is Board Certified in Family Practice Medicine. He has provided medical oversight in addiction treatment and education for over 25 years.

The mission of Tellurian UCAN and the Tellurian Family of Services has remained unchanged since the founding of Tellurian in 1971...“to provide a safe and nurturing environment to all those afflicted with substance abuse, addiction, mental illness, and homelessness, a broad range of innovative programs, treatment and services designed to allow each individual the opportunity to rebuild their life and re-enter the community as a productive member of society.”

Each year, the Tellurian Family of Services provides much needed help and assistance to more than 8500 people via treatment, a wide range of support services, and housing. Serving the needs of patients throughout greater Wisconsin, as well the upper Midwest, the Tellurian Family of Services continues in its mission of optimizing every patient’s chance for recovery, by “Making Recovery a Reality” for all individuals and families seeking help.
