Tellurian believes that families play an important role in supporting the life changes required for long-term recovery. By understanding the challenges that face a recovering alcoholic or drug addict, you may be better prepared to assist with recovery and offer support to decrease the chance of relapse.

Chances are, if you are living with a drug addict or alcoholic, you may be aware that addiction doesn’t just affect the addict. Addiction can affect family, friends and co-workers in various ways. Because recovery is a lifelong process, your loved one won't be "cured" once he or she comes back from treatment. It will, in fact, take commitment, hard work and requires the support from those in their lives.

In order to assist in improving support for both the addict and their loved ones, Tellurian holds family groups every Thursday evening and Saturday mornings at our Main Campus in Madison, Wisconsin for families with loved ones currently in treatment. Your loved one will receive more information about these group sessions during their treatment.
