Tellurian’s Outpatient Program

Tellurian’s Outpatient Program is highly individualized and based on specific patient needs as diagnosed by their Tellurian counselor.

The Tellurian Outpatient Treatment Program is the least restrictive level of care Tellurian offers to its patients.  Tellurian’s treatment is highly individualized and based on specific patient needs as assessed by their counselor.  Treatment length and schedules are determined by each patient’s individual progress in completing a mutually agreed upon treatment plan.

The Tellurian Outpatient Clinic provides both group and individual counseling, including specific relapse prevention.   Assessment services are provided to those working through substance use disorders, dependency and mental health disorders.

Outpatient services are flexible and stress individualized treatment plans.  Tellurian’s compassionate treatment focuses on patient needs with the goal of getting them back to the life they hope for.

The Tellurian medical and counseling staff has developed a multi-faceted continuum of care that provides the tools and support needed for a sober and productive lifestyle free of opiate addiction.

Opioid dependence is a challenging and complicated condition, but it can be treated. Suboxone® is the first prescription medication available for use in the treatment of opioid dependence under the Drug Addition Treatment Act of 2000. Suboxone® was developed to decrease the pain and discomfort of withdrawal and aid in decreasing opiate cravings, and block the effects of drugs such as heroin, morphine, Vicodin, Oxycodone, and Oxycontin.

Suboxone® is not a "miracle cure." Treatment takes hard work! You may experience times of sadness, anxiety, and loneliness, but you will also experience times of joy and laughter. Each day becomes an adventure as you travel down the road to recovery.

The Tellurian Suboxone® Treatment Program encompasses four distinct phases.

The staff physician and therapist review medical records and psychosocial history during the medical exam and intake process to determine if Suboxone® is appropriate for the patient. If Suboxone® is prescribed, dosages are adjusted as needed and intensive group and individual therapy begins.

Early recovery focuses on continued weekly group and individual counseling. Medication checks occur monthly, and random drug screens are conducted.

During maintenance, monthly individual counseling and group therapy sessions play a major role in recovery as patients continue to rebuild their life free of drugs.

Under physician supervision, Suboxone® dosages are slowly decreased to minimize any withdrawal symptoms. The goal of phase IV is to discontinue Suboxone® altogether. Patients are encouraged to continue counseling.
